Mr Latham has been trying to continue to level the provision of girls cricket, and one of the things I have looked to do is increase the number of fixtures, and find wandering clubs for the girls to play - similar to the boys who play Gents of Leicester, XL Club, etc..

 Jenny Thompson (@herworldcrickettour on Instagram) to agree to visit the school on 2nd May for an afternoon fixture. Jenny is currently touring the world, and is in Sri Lanka at the moment. I need to help Jenny find some players, and I am hoping that you might be keen to come back to Oakham on Thursday 2nd May, have some lunch with us in BAFS pavilion and then play for Jenny in her World XI. The day will start around 12:30ish, when Jenny's team will meet and maybe have a net before lunch at 1:30 with the girls 1st XI. We will hear a little from Jenny regarding her World Tour and the T20 game will start around 2:30pm. We will be livestreaming the games this year, so we intend to broadcast this game on our YouTube Channel.

 It would be fantastic to see you and to have you play in the game, allowing you to see where we have got to with girls cricket and, what we are doing to continue the hard work that you started in your time her to make Girls cricket a real option for our female students.
