An OO and amateur meteorologist has been recording the weather everyday for 66 Years

Jim Lawson ('62) has been recording the weather every day since he was 14 Years Old.

Jim, who now lives in Preston, Lancashire has been recording the weather every day since he was a boy at Oakham School.

His interest peaked in 1957, when he was 14 Years old and a storm hit Rutland. His recordings also show the temperatures in Rutland during the 'Big Freeze of 1962 and 1963' when Jim was a boy at Oakham School, recording temperatures as low as -17C!

It is an incredible achievement that has been featured in BBC News, Lancashire.
