We were delighted to welcome 9 Old Oakhamians, who faced off against 6 current Oakhamians and 4 staff members, on Saturday 7 March in the return of the Old Oakhamian vs Pupil Golf Fixture at Luffenham Heath Golf Club.

The weather was dreary and cold but the competition was friendly and fierce!

After 18 holes the Pupils/Staff combined team emerged as the victors!

Scores on the doors were as below:

James Drennan and Sam Janes lost 3&2 against Will Hartley (’96) and Ben Hartley (’90)

Fraser and Mr Cure won 2&1 against Chris Palmer (’75) and Simon Scott (’96)

Carl and Mr Dixon-Dale won 2up against Jamie Jameson (’13) and Ollie Thewlas (’01)

Alfie and Mr Breeze won 2up against George Chapel (’25) and Thomas Walters (’22)

Elija and Harry won 6&4 against Mark Walker (’96) (admittedly by himself!)

Thank you to the Oakham School staff who helped make the event possible and all the OOs who joined us for a fantastic day of golf at the beautiful club that is Luffenham Heath.
