Stuart Broad ('04) returned to international cricket for England's Test Series in New Zealand, which England drew 1-1. Stuart missed the Pakistan series for the birth of his daughter, xx. In the series, Stuart and Jimmy Anderson became the most successful bowling partnership of all-time, surpassing the 1,001 wickets of Warne & McGrath. Stuart took 12 wickets on tour at 26.1, including one of his renowned match-defining spells of 4-21 in 10 overs which ensured England victory in the First Test.

Jack van Poortvliet ('19) & Hamish Watson ('10) have both been playing international rugby in this year's Six Nations. Jack has played every game for England, while Hamish has played in the last three rounds after coming back from concussion woes at the end of last year.

Jack was interviewed by fellow OO, Imogen Ainsworth ('19) for The Rugby Paper before this year's Championships — you can read the article here.

Alex Goode ('06) broke the Saracens appearance record earlier this season, with his 339th appearance coming in October; Alex subsequently made his 350th appearance for Sarrries against Tigers at the end of February.

Alex Stadler ('15) was goalkeeper for the German team that won the FIH Hockey Men's World Cup 2023 in January, overcoming Belgium on penalty flicks in the final.
