On Saturday 22 November we were delighted to welcome 56 classmates from 1995 back to Oakham School for their 30-year reunion.
The evening kicked off with welcome drinks in the Barraclough where the OOs caught up with their former classmates and teachers, guest appearances from Jim O’Kane and Dave Smith, whilst looking through old Red Books, Leavers books, magazines, sports and drama photographs.
Ben Stephens then gave a lovely welcome speech before everyone sat down for a special Barraclough dinner.
Even the weather couldn’t dampen their spirits as they caught up with one another - reminiscing and remembering - some had not returned to Oakham in the 30 years since graduating. Was lovely to hear stories swapped of what they have been up to since leaving School and to chat about what had changed over the decades!
Thank you to Ben Stephens, Fiona Wilson, Leah Skipper and Charlie Reading for arranging a memorable and fun night for your Class of 1995.
