A lovely afternoon was spent with the Class of 1996 on Saturday 30 May 2026.

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome them back to Oakham School to celebrate their 60-Year Reunion and we were delighted to have Honorary OOs John Bagely, Richard Davies and Patrick Wilson join the celebrations too.

It was wonderful to hear memories of School and their school life in the 60’s and to see the reconnections with classmates and teachers over lunch, looking through and reminiscing about the red books and archive photos and during a tour of the School. Former 'Head Boy' David Jackson completed the reunion formalities with a speech that was both hilarious and heartfelt ending with an emotional toast to absent friends and a rousing cheer for Oakham School.
