At the beginning of March, Cambridge and Oxford had their annual Varsity match, which was held at Stone X Stadium in London.
The Cambridge side consisted of two OOs, George Bland (‘23) and Matt Riddington (‘16), who comfortably beat Oxford 56-11, retaining the title for a second year running.
Cambridge started the second half as they finished the first, with a brilliant try from George, who had the pace to run straight under the posts, helped extend their advantage.
Matt is undertaking a Master's in Philosophy, while George has started his undergraduate degree in Economics.
Congratulations to both on their Varsity success and we wish them all the best at Cambridge.
