Toby Cousins (’23), who played for England in the U18 Six Nations last year, started for England in all five matches of the U20 Six Nations.
The tournament started off strong with a win against Italy and a statement of intent from the England side of what they wanted to achieve.
Round 2 was against Wales with three first-half tries; England continued to push forward in search of a fourth try in the second half but was met with a resolute Welsh defense. However, a final try was achieved with six minutes on the clock.
England continued their strong start with two tries in each half against Scotland, which was enough for the visitors, who maintained their unbeaten start to the 2024 Championship.
After their agonising draw against Ireland; where, a last-minute Irish try saw the scoreline end 32-32, England entered the last round of the matches at the top of the table.
A brilliant display from England in the final match against France earned them the U20 Men’s Six Nations title as they beat a powerful French side.
Congratulations to Toby on an incredible tournament and the success of the England side!
